No sound

No sound in recording

Make sure the tab is playing audible audio and is not muted. Start recording from the active tab that contains the audio.

If the website switches players or reloads, stop the recording and start again from the current tab.

Recording stops

Recording stops unexpectedly

Very long recordings depend on Chrome, memory, and device performance. If a recording stops, save the current file and start a new session.

Export

MP3 export issues

Dolphin exports MP3 files through Chrome downloads. If the file does not appear, check Chrome download settings and whether the browser blocked downloads from the extension.

Permissions

Chrome permission issue

Dolphin needs permission to capture the active tab audio after you start recording. Reload the page and start again if Chrome permission prompts were dismissed.

Protected content

Can Dolphin record protected content?

Dolphin is designed for audio you have the right to capture. Some protected or DRM-based content may not be recordable.
